Courses

Our training covers GIS and RS solutions with a focus on open source solutions as far as possible. We also give training in specific commercial systems, like EnsoMOSAIC and Espa Systems. At the moment we organize regular GIS and RS related training in Finland and Indonesia. We will soon organize similar training in the UK and Spain.

This course has been developed for interested persons and existing GIS users from the private-, public-, and academic-sectors who wish to learn the essential aspects of utilizing QGIS for analyzing spatial data from a beginners’ level.
Part of this training also covers working with GRASS as a plugin for QGIS, and also as a standalone GIS.

These courses have a focus in solving specific subject related problems. In the courses a variety of available FOSS tools are studied and utilized to solve particular use cases. The intensive  one to three-day course has been develop for interested persons and existing GIS users from the private-, public-, and academic-sectors who wish to learn the advanced aspects of utilizing FOSS for analyzing spatial data from an intermediate level through to a professional level of competency.
